At The Mendenhall Blair House Foundation, we believe in the power of community and the importance of lending a helping hand to those in need. That's why we're thrilled to announce our latest initiative: the donation of 20 blessing bags filled with essential toiletries to Greensboro Urban Ministry!
The Greensboro Urban Ministry, who received us with a warm welcome last Thursday, are a cornerstone of our community since 1967 focused on providing vital services including: housing solutions, safe shelter, food, and support year-round to residents of the greater Greensboro area.
Our team has thoughtfully put together these blessing bags, which consist of a range of essential items aimed at supporting individuals in maintaining their well-being. Each bag contains toiletries like body wipes, menstrual products, toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, and other necessities that are often overlooked but vital for those experiencing homelessness.
The Mendenhall Blair House Foundation is committed to making a positive impact on the community and preserving history through the preservation of The Mendenhall Blair House and the development of community outreach programs. Our goal is to provide immediate relief and support to vulnerable populations while advocating for long-term solutions.
We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to the incredible work being done by Greensboro Urban Ministry and look forward to continuing our support for their mission. Together, we can make a difference, one blessing bag at a time.
Thanks to your ongoing support and generosity, we are working together to create a more resilient and compassionate community.
